Niko is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner

Niko is an international family owned company providing beautiful and well-designed, intuitive and user-friendly controls to make people’s homes work better. 

We are currently looking for an experienced, business-driven and proactive HR Business Partner to Niko Nordic in Sønderborg, to further strengthen our work within human resources and create value for the organization and our employees. 

What will you do as an HR Business Partner Niko Nordic?

As HR Business Partner Niko Nordic, your main responsibility is to deliver a high level of human resource services across the different departments at Niko Nordic. You will work closely together with Niko Group HR to support the Nordic business managers and management team in their daily leadership challenges as well as being the go-to person. You will work across the different domains within HR, such as recruitment and selection, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, employee satisfaction and wellbeing, compliance etc. Your role will be broad, and you will work with both strategic, tactical and more operational, hands-on tasks. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Implement the HR strategy, policy, processes and projects in Niko Nordic in close collaboration with Niko Group HR and in line with business needs and focus 
• Build trusting relationships with managers and employees and have the courage to challenge managers on their decisions
• Challenge existing practices and accompany change
• Coach, advise and influence managers on important HR issues in general and in assessing performance and potential of employees in particular
• Assist managers in creating the desired work climate
• Bring potential issues and solutions to the attention of managers
• Communicate and show an interest in people’s concerns and problems
• Understand and foster the type of environment the organization needs for high performance and cultural change

Your working base will be in Sønderborg, and you will be part of the management team at Niko Nordic in Sønderborg. Organizationally, you will be part of the Niko Group HR Team, and you will refer to Niko Group HR. Moreover, you will collaborate with colleagues internally in the Niko Group and various people externally.  

Who are we looking for?

For this position, you hold a relevant bachelor's degree combined with at least +10 years of working experience within HR in a similar position, preferably at a manufacturing company. In addition, you possess the following competencies: 

• Emphatic person who easily becomes the go-to person in all HR related matters
• Experience in advising and coaching managers at all levels
• Solid insights into the various HR disciplines
• Knowledge of employment law and collective agreements (Danish Industry)
• Strong business acumen
• Work experience from a matrix organization
• Work experience from a family-owned company
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

On a personal level, you are agile, proactive and take ownership for your area of responsibility. You have a strong interest and proven experience in contributing to business performance through HR. You have the ability to engage with many different people and combined with your very good interpersonal skills you are able to build trusting relationships. You possess strong communicative skills that enables you to communicate at all levels in the organization. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
