Niko is looking for an experienced Software System Designer

We are currently looking for an experienced, dedicated and solution-oriented Software System Designer to join our R&D Team in Sønderborg, to further strengthen our App and Cloud software development within lighting control, sensors and detectors. You will drive the development and maintenance of App and Cloud solutions within our product portfolio.

Job description
As Software System Designer, you will be responsible for our App and Cloud system design. App and Cloud are a part of a bigger system where you will ensure that the App and Cloud are well integrated into the system. You will also play a key role in App and Cloud software development by ensuring alignment of requirements across the different functions in order to deliver the best solution. In addition, your key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for the App and Cloud software deliverables in accordance with customer requirements
• SCRUM Master for the App and Cloud Development Team
• Ensuring the deliveries in accordance with time and quality
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration

Your working base will be in Sønderborg, and you will be a part of an experienced and skilled R&D Team. You will also collaborate with various people both internally in the organization and externally. You will refer to the R&D Manager Nordic at the Competence Center Detection in Sønderborg.

Background and skills
For this position, you hold a bachelor’s or AP degree in programming or software. Furthermore, we expect you to have +3 years of experience working with App and Cloud solutions and +3 years of experience working with SCRUM, preferably certified SCRUM Master. In addition, you possess the following competencies:

• Experience with design and implementation of App and Cloud services
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Stakeholder management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
